On June 9, Ambassador Xiao visited the REMOTE centralized control Center of MINING production of BHP Billiton group in Perth, and exchanged views with the President of BHP Billiton Australia Barstow and other officials on the operation of the remote centralized control center and BHP billiton's cooperation with China. Mr Barstow said China was an important export market for Australian iron ore and BHP had built strong relationships with Chinese customers over the years. BHP billiton is willing to continue to serve as a reliable iron ore supplier to China, further deepen cooperation with China and make due contribution to the development of Australia-China relations.
